This app performs tremor quantification for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor patients. It allows to sample tremor measurements up to 100Hz and measures 4 parameters (acceleration, rotation, rotation speed and gravity) over 3 axes (X, Y and Z).

TREMOR12 has been developed with CE and FDA guidelines on mobile medical applications in mind, but is meant as a research-tool only. It can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store (iOS only). The source code can be downloaded from GitHub (GNU GPL v3).

Regarding a port to Apple Watch, please read this blog post.

All samples are timestamped and can be exported as CSV files for further analysis, e.g. with the open source TREMOR12P IPython Notebook, also available on GitHub (GNU GPL v3).
